Daily Prompt: The Road Less Travelled
The Dark Road
We look ahead to our future and nothing is clear
We make choices that change us, sometimes from fear
We choose paths that seem to fit our life at the time
Never knowing the outcome, as our path is not clear
We are called to choose the road less travelled
We are urged to walk the darkness in faith
We look at both ways, and the choice is so hard
Memories haunting us from another time’s wraith
God’s way, though His Word promises love and peace
Seems so dark looking as tomorrow is not revealed
So much easier to go on the bright path of the masses
Where the fate of tomorrow, is not concealed
The path of the Dark way is not what it seems
Doors shut, but an angel behind each
He says “trust in Me, your life’s battle is Mine”
Take my hand as in faith, you step out and reach
He says “remember I created the light from the dark,
“I splashed the black Heavens with stars in the sky
“I wait here to hold you, to give you peace in the dark
As you love Me, reach out in faith and so try
The dark road, the right road, the road less travelled
The road that leads to God’s loving arms
Choose wisely, choose God’s way, choose in faith
Walk His road and He’ll keep you from harm

HE loves YOU.
I just realized something. I just got goose bumps.
On my June 30 I did my last day of my challenge blog. (Of which I have to say I would tell everyone to do…it is a challenge and makes you think). But the old picture I posted, is me at my grandmothers in my EASTER dress.
She always made my dresses. She was a phenomenal seamstress. It made me honestly think of you when I posted it.

Thank you for your kind comment 🙂 I always hesitate to send my work to any type of publication (and hence have never done so) as it takes so much courage.. I am not sure where to start, but I will look into it now as perhaps your remark is supposed to prompt me to do so.
