I am so very blessed. To walk through depression (although it is an ongoing battle), I have had God’s hand over me both in subtle and more obvious ways. In this area, I’d like to share with you the best of my victories, and the worst of my days. From poetry, to simple thoughts, to devotions, join me in seeing the wonder of how God can bless you and your loved ones that may be affected by this daunting spiritual and mental battle.

  • See Me Now -   See Me Now   How can I move on when I’m terrified? Although I know I must I am horrified You took the rug right out from under me Do you know what you did; how you sundered me?   But see me now, no longer scared Grasping on to hope and a solemn prayer I pray to find the strength and to find the hope I pray to find the... • Take a Chance - Take a Chance on Me After blogging on here intermittently for several years with flickers of success here and there, I am back again to throw my luck to the wind and set free the creativity within which burtsts to flourish and grow. I hope you will join my journey; take a chance on me.
  • One Look in Your Eyes - One Look in Your Eyes   I can’t help myself Just one look in your eyes I’m brought to a new place Heaven’s surprise Just thinking of you My spirit sings The world disappears You become everything Words of laughter and joy Cute little puns Intense moments of sharing My heart has been won Dear friend of my spirit You are so much more Facing tomorrows To share what’s in store
  • Hidden World - Originally posted on God Through My Eyes:
When light and shadow begin to play We look at things a different way The once obscure can come to light The ostentatious less contright The details of the inner shell Free to dance in freedom’s swell Look to see the hidden world In amazement let God’s love unfurl 🌸🌺💕🌺🌸🌺💕🌺🌸
  • This Night - Nothing I have nothing to write As I ponder this night Stars hidden behind heavy clouds Alone in my bed Alone in my head Just another soul lost in the crowd What value is life With all lost in strife And a heart too heavy to carry So I fluster for reason In this hell-induced season Destitute, defeated and weary
  • Arise My Little One - Arise my little one christened in faithWater cleansing your spirit and faceSurrounded by love, born of graceWalk in hope and joy in all of your days
  • Echo of God’s Heart - Water dances over the rocksAn endless duet, they never partSun or storm in nature’s kissEchoing God’s pounding heart
  • This Lovely Bloom - A summer’s walk A warm afternoon Gift from God This lovely Bloom
  • The Child Within Her - Not long ago, I had the joy of sharing a hospital room with a very special woman for two weeks. Irene, at 92, was a spitfire when she was lucid, as endearing as a 2-year-old when she was not. She was afraid of the world at night and I would pull up a chair just to hold her hand through the dark hours to assure her that all was well. Her response... Read More
