I love the idea of ‘nakedly sharing my life’, it reads as an iinspiration to be honest in everything.
I see you profess to be a christian writer, have you read any of C.S. Lewis’ christian writing? I highly recomend his autobiography, ‘Surprised by Joy’ and his heartbreaking, genius in ‘A grief Observed’. I also suggest two interesting biographies about the man (who was led back to his faith by J.R.R. Tolkien) by Michael White and Alan Jacobs (whose book, ‘The Narnian’ I am thoroughly enjoying at present, extremely well written). Best wishes,
Baldy 🙂

Thank you so much. Yes, I have made a promise to not compromise on the truth of some of the things that are more difficult to write about in that perhaps it may touch another and bless them in some way.
I am a big fan of CS Lewis, but have not read his works in many years. It would be nice to go back to. One of my sons has read all of his works also and took great comfort in his writing during a difficult time.
Bless you lots,
Easter

I should note, also, that Lorelle from Lorelle on WordPress, painstakingly helped me to come to that tag-line which includes “nakedly sharing my life”. It was a very difficult exercise to summarize into such a brief line, what I am aspiring to do and be in my writing. Thank you for the compliment.

“Nakedly sharing my life…” I really like that. We have the freedom to do so when we’re robed in the righteousness of Christ. How I love Him.
Beautiful poetry and photos here, and the love of Christ can be felt on every page. May the Lord give you a great harvest for your work here.

Way back in Kindergarten, my teacher had the very BEST troidtian. The day before St. Patrick’s Day, we would design and create Leprechaun traps with the high school students. The next day we came to class to find total destruction of our classroom. We’re talking tables turned over, carpets turned upside down, books thrown a strew, Leprechaun traps set off and filled with golden coins and green shamrocks. Nothing, however beat the green pee that we found in the bathroom. As Kindergartners, that was the prize winner. Who would think such little Leprechauns could cause such havoc?
