20 Comments on “Oceans Apart, A Duet of Kindred Spirits

  1. I commented over at “the Corner”–but will say again that I LOVE collaborations, and this one is so very nice. A blessing, and a balm for readers. And by the way, collaborations aren’t easy to do–so you two have obviously got a real heart-connection, PTL. Okay, and now for my confession–I’ve been so crazed of late, that I got confused re your blogs–thinking that you just kept changing the “one”–but of course there are 2….love, “your senile sister-poet”

    • Sorry as the one that is “Today I Can With God” is, I believe more important a message, I often reblog on my main blog as I feel the messages may reach someone who needs it that day.
I hope that it doesn’t seem like I am self-promoting, rather I would just like to have it out there..
I am so glad that you enjoyed the duet and so appreciative of your support.
      Much love to you..

      • Don’t worry about self-promoting–I certainly don’t see it that way, and agree that God would want His messages put wherever they might get to those who need them. I was just thinking you might enjoy a laugh at me, getting lost and confused in blog land! I’m still pink-cheeked about something that happened during the last week of NaPoWriMo–there are a couple of older men whose blogs I follow, but they don’t necessarily post daily, so I apparently hadn’t gotten them firmly placed in my mind. Well, one posted about his 75th b’day. The other posted something introspective–and I commented that maybe he was feeling reflective and having b’day blues. He was clueless, of course, as to what I was talking about–told me his b’day isn’t until Sept! E, I spent 2 full days going back and forth, trying to figure things out!! And I was going into that crazy spin, so I actually said to the “wrong” guy–“but you just posted about your b’day on the 29th”. Oh my gosh–now he was confused, asked which post I was referring to! Finally, I got it sorted out–saw that it was a different blog, and apologized to him for my senility. He was very nice, teasingly said, “you mean you read other blogs, besides mine?” Good grief, I feel old some days!
