Share Your World – 2014 Week 15
I have been participating in some photo challenges on Cee’s Photography, and saw that she has a writing challenge called “Share Your World”. I am late in starting (as it is now week 15), but better late than never, right?
Cee poses four questions and you answer. So here is a part of my little piece of this great big world:
For your blog do you basically use Windows or Mac, laptop, desktop, pad, or phone?
I am a Mac lover and use my MacBook Pro most of the time. Everyone I know says that Macs are overpriced and not worth it, but after 6 years of using Mac computers/laptops (we have three in the family and two iPhones), I would not change it for the world. (Well maybe for the WORLD.. but that’s not going to happen, is it?)
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher. I have always loved teaching younger children.
Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I moved a LOT.. roots were not my strong point.. I have always lived in the suburbs. I have always wanted to live in a more remote, small town, but career, spouse, kids.. it has not been possible yet. I am still hoping that this will change.
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Hmmm… 42. I was feeling good, looked a lot better… but no, wait, I have my Antonio now.. so scratch that. I am fine just where I am.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am so very grateful for a visit that I had with my sister and her kids.. They are so loveable and sweet and make me feel like the aunt who is worth a million dollars.
This week is full of doctor’s appointments.. am I looking forward to them? Nope. So what am I looking forward to? This weekend. It is my eldest daughter’s birthday on the 18th and my birthday on the 19th. 🙂 Like I said, I like this time of my life, so it is ok to get a year older ❤ I am also looking forward to passing a kidney stone that I have had for a week that is a real bugger! I hate the darn things, but I rock, so I get them all the time. 😉
The photo of the child with the doll is very warm and touching. Good luck with your kidney stone and Happy Birthday to you and your daughter. 🙂

I just got a MacBook Pro last night. Very happy with it. I liked your answer on age, hope your appointments go well and you are all better soon. And Happy Birthday, in case I miss it in a few days.
