Where to Look

Turn Your Eyes Towards Him

When the sun is clouded by worries and fears
When your eyes are glistening with fresh, warm tears
When the hope that was in there has now disappeared
Then turn your eyes towards Him

When the morrow is hazy, and blurred in your view
When the evening grass is not glittered with dew
When your heart is so heavy it can’t see what’s true
Then turn your eyes towards Him

He silently waits for the morning to break
He stretches His hand to heal every ache
He waits for your courage – your burdens to take
For your eyes to turn towards Him

So reach out your hand in courage and faith
Know He’s there; He patiently waits
Boldly step out and walk through His gate
And turn your eyes towards Him

    • Thank you Suresh.. I hope that you are well and blessed. I enjoy many of the posts that you reblog and thank you for including mine. So kind of you.

      • Hi Ellen,

Good to see you relaxed, in high spirits and fresh. I am always up and about; this in fact caused some serious troubles as well. lol

Undoubtedly, you are very special, always.

        Babu, Suresh

        • You are too kind. I did have a rough Mothers’ Day, but other than that, when I post about life’s more difficult moments, it is to share God’s love for people who can identify with the place they’re in and hopefully give them some hope.

          Bless you lots and lots,

          • Ellen, I read all your posts. I used to be a very very stark critic of everything and everyone till 1996. Although I am unemployable, I happened to get a good job at that time. My boss after observing me very closely for months, on one hand he was very much surprised to see my performance and on the other hand, he was disheartened very much about my attitude. He asked one day when we were discussing about a senior manager, Suresh, do you see one good quality in that person; to his utter consternation, I replied without an iota of hesitation, Yes sir, I do. He asked me what it was. I said, when his wife and children come to the office, he hugs them all and forgets the whole world. I realized while answering itself, a major change, rather a transformation was taking place within myself. That was the last time I had ever criticized any one want only.

The whole discussion with my boss appeared as though GOD himself was talking to me after becoming fed up of seeing me taking everyone I come across for granted. 🙂

I also realized there is good and bad in everyone, it’s entirely up to the individual as to how to and what to look into the another person. My whole perception changed forever. This realization further was amplified when I further began to understand my own quote, “My living license is temporary”.

I don’t know why I am writing this now. Ignore it if it makes no sense to you. 🙂

            Pleasant day.

            Babu, Suresh

            • I think that it is amazing how God just knows how to speak to us, when to speak to us and who to speak to us through. I am so glad that you shared your story with me. It is a wonderful story of the power of God’s love in our lives and how much he can completely recreate who we are. I have seen my boyfriend undergo similar changes after the bitterness of a marriage gone very wrong. He is so thankful now and God has truly touched his heart and softened it in so many ways. Makes me cry just to think of the changes.
May the Lord continue to bless you in your walk. Thank you again for sharing your story with me.
